Corporate Services Authorised Corporate Service Provider

Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)

Are you prepared for the tighter Companies House filing requirements? As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, here’s how we can support you.

The Academic and Professional Research Centre of Britain (APRCB), whose public practice division APRC Accountants is now officially recognised as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) in the UK.

Here’s what this means for you.

We are pleased to announce that our firm is now officially registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House. As an ACSP, we are authorised to verify identities and submit company information directly on behalf of our clients.

Why this is important?

The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA) introduce more robust identity verification procedures and significantly tightened filing requirements.

From 18 November 2025, mandatory identity verification will come into force for all company directors and persons with significant control (PSCs).

On this date:

• New directors and PSCs must verify their identity before they can be appointed or incorporated.

• Existing directors and PSCs must complete verification within a 12 month transition period, aligned with the filing date of their next confirmation statement, and in any event by mid November 2026.

We as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) can assist you to complete this statutory compliance. Without the support of an ACSP, business owners risk experiencing processing delays, rejected filings, and increased administrative workload as they attempt to comply with the new requirements.

Who is an ACSP?

An Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) is a registered agent permitted by Companies House to submit statutory information and perform identity checks on behalf of companies in line with the ECCTA requirements. We are an Accountancy and Tax Consultancy practice supervised under the UK’s anti money laundering (AML) regulatory framework, including oversight from bodies such as the Association of International Accountants, the Institute of Financial Accountants, and other recognised UK professional authorities.

As an ACSP, we can:

• Carry out identity checks for directors, PSCs, and anyone required to submit information to Companies House helping you stay compliant well ahead of the November 2025 deadline.

• Submit statutory filings on your behalf, including incorporations, director and shareholder updates, and confirmation statements ensuring you meet the filing requirements due in 2026.

• Process all filings through our secure ACSP portal, enabling fast, accurate, and professionally managed submissions by our authorised team.

• Retain mandatory compliance records for seven years, as required by law removing the administrative burden from your organisation.
